The Liftmaster 8500 has a space-saving design that mounts on the wall beside your garage door, freeing up ceiling space. The included LED remote light kit can be mounted anywhere there is an outlet, and it has all the features of a standard style garage door opener.

Our Liftmaster 8500 comes with a battery back up incase of power failure, the remote light kit, interior wall control, two car remotes, WiFi App built in, and safety sensors. This unit also has a deadbolt style automatic lock, that engages once the door is closed to provide extra security.

The Liftmaster 8500 is an ideal choice for a garage with limited headroom above the garage door, or a home with a car lift where a motor above the door would interfere with the use of the garage.
